Introduction

All Ages First Aid Training regards customer privacy as an important part of our relationship with our customers. The following Privacy / Terms & Conditions applies to all, All Ages First Aid Training users, and conforms to Internet privacy standards. Collection of Information

In order to use the All Ages First Aid Training website, we may require information from you in order to provide the best service possible. All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and accounts, including Email. Any information collected by All Ages First Aid Training is collected via correspondence from you or your company. This may be via the telephone, email, mail, fax or directly through our website.

Use of Collection Information

Any details collected from All Ages First Aid Training customers is required in order to provide you with our products and/or services, and a high level of customer service. Correspondence is recorded in order to provide service references, and to assist in our staff development.

Storage of Collected Information

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers) on our website, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). When Credit Card details are collected, we simply pass them on in order to be processed as required. We never permanently store complete Credit Card details. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Access to Collected

Information If you personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete or deactivate it by emailing us at allagesfirstaidtraining@outlook.com

Orders

If you purchase a product or service from us, we may request certain personally identifiable information from you. You may be required to provide contact information (such as name, Email, and postal address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

Cancellation / Re booking / No Show/Refund & Returns Policy

Fees, payment, withdrawals and refunds

All fees under $1500 are to be paid in advance and receipt of fees confirms registration on a course. For fees amounting to more than $1500, a deposit is to be paid, with the balance to be paid prior to commencement of the course.

Course fees include all charges to complete the course and cover:

  • tuition
  • support and coaching
  • any associated student workbooks, handouts and manuals
  • classroom and facilities
  • access to any specialised equipment necessary for the training

Additional fees will be charged for replacement of certificates if required. Print of originals will attract a charge. Copies of qualifications are free.

If a student is assessed as ‘Not Competent’ at the end of the course, then a grace period of one month applies to re-try assessment or to complete outstanding work, otherwise all fees are forfeited.

Payment

All courses fees can be paid online through the website by Credit card, or direct deposit into All Ages First Aid Training’s bank account. Students may wish to make a direct deposit. The invoice notes the direct deposit details.

Refund Policy

Refund of all or part of fees may be available, subject to compliance with All Ages First Aid Training’s refund policy noted below:

  • All Ages First Aid Training will allow cancellation by students or clients within seven days of the course commencement and will provide a refund, under the following circumstances:
    • Personal trauma such as (serious accident, illness, severe hardship as a result of loss of employment, loss of a family member)
    • Cancellation of course by All Ages First Aid Training
  • If a refund applies, refunds will be paid within 7-10 days of the claim for a refund.

Guidelines for refunds – withdrawal from the course less than 4 weeks prior to the course, the following will apply:

Refund process

To request a refund, students must complete a course cancellation and refund form accompanied by supporting documents such as a doctor’s certificate or signed Statutory Declaration. The refund claim form must be signed and dated by the student or client.

To make a cancellation and seek a refund, the student must complete a Course cancellation and refund request form.

The course cancellation and refund form details the student’s name and contact details, payment details for refund, student signature and date. It also details the course in which they enrolled and are now cancelling including course name, date, time, cost, duration, the reason for cancellation, the refund being requested, based on guidelines, and the student would include any supporting documentation for the reason for cancellation to accompany the form.

A Payment of refund form will be completed and signed by All Ages First Aid Training. A copy will be retained by All Ages First Aid Training and the original provided to the student/client.

Refunds are only paid to the person who entered into the agreement to undertake the training i.e. the student or client (if the client paid the fees).

If All Ages First Aid Training has to cancel or reschedule a course, students/clients are entitled to 100% of their fees or deposit being fully refunded or transferred to a future course. Where practicable, All Ages First Aid Training will give 48 hours notice to students/clients, or where this is not possible, as soon as the client is able to give notice.

A refund is not provided to a student/client if the student/client fails to give notice either by email or phone call, prior to the course commencement.

If a course has been tailor-made for a client and travel is involved in providing a trainer, cancellation of booking will attract a 50% cancellation fee if postponed within 48 hours of course commencement and 100% of the fee if less than 24 hours.

No refund is available to students who leave before completing the course and assessment, unless a medical certificate or proof of extenuating circumstances is provided. In that case the student or client may reschedule within one month of the original course ending.

Re-Booking Fee

All Ages First Aid Training requires a min of 24 hrs notice if the student is un-able to attend and requests a re-booking. If 24 hrs notice has not been received a $25 Administration fee will apply. If the student is unable to provide 24 hrs notice due to a medical reason a Doctors certificate must be produced and the $25 Administration fee will be forfeited. Payment of the fee will be collected on re-booking and can be paid by Major Credit cards or Electronic Funds Transfer.

ONLINE TRAINING

Your online THEORY training is like a Passport. You cant catch your flight without a Passport. That means you CAN NOT conduct your in class practicle with out completing your online theory.

Our courses have been designed for those who are unable to attend a full traditional first aid course. The online component of our courses contain all the background knowledge and at the conclusion, participants will need to complete a theory exam prior to the practical assessment. It is very important that you take the time to complete all the theory modules before completing the theory exam. The information contained in these modules hold key information you may need to know in an emergency. The modules are presented in different learning formats, including, videos, presentations and interactive elements. It is expected that some participants will take up to approx. 5 hours to complete this theory component of the course. However, some participants with previous First Aid Training may complete the online theory within a shorter period. Your online training theory must be completed and completed in full and submitted to the All Ages First Aid Training’s assessor for marking before you can conduct the in-class training session that you have selected. If the online training has not been submitted before your in class practical assessment you will not be able to conduct the in-class training session and a $25 dollar rebooking for your practical assessment will apply.

Training Day and NO Show

Registration is 15 minutes prior to course commencement. All participants must provide Photo ID to the Trainer and Assessor at the commencement of the class in order to participant in the assessments and receive a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion of the course.

If the Training course has already started when you arrive the Student is deemed as a No Show. A No Show student is unable to receive a refund or a free rebooking. If the student wishes to make a rebooking for future dates a $25 dollar rebooking fee for your practical assessment will apply..


If a Student does not attend the booked training course or does not contact All Ages First Aid Training before commencement of said course the Student is deemed as a No Show. A No Show student is unable to receive a refund or a free rebooking.

Corporate, Business invoice payments

An invoice will be sent to the customer for payment at the completion of training. We request all Invoices to be settled within 21 days of the booked course date unless prior agreement has been made with the customer. If payment has not been settled with in the time frame of 21 days a late payment fee may apply at + 5% of the total invoice ever 5 business day of non payment. If payment has not been settled within 40 Business days of the invoice legal action may be considered.

Vouchers or Coupons

Vouchers and coupons must be disclosed to All Ages First Aid Training on date of booking. Vouchers and Coupons can only be used on set days at the discretion of All Ages First Aid Training. Vouchers and coupons can not be used on Weekend training days unless advertised or pre approved by All Ages First Aid Training.

Communications

All Ages First Aid Training uses personally identifiable information for essential communications, such as Emails, accounts information, and critical service details. We may also use this information for other purposes, including some promotional Emails. If at any time a customer wishes not to receive such correspondence, they can request to be removed from any mailing lists by emailing us at all agesfirstaidtraining@outlook.com You will be notified when your personal information is collected by any third party that is not our agent/service provider, so you can make an informed choice as to whether or not to share your information with that party.

Third Parties

All Ages First Aid Training may at its discretion use other third parties to provide essential services on our site or for our business processes. We may share your details as necessary for the third party to provide that service. These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose. All Ages First Aid Training does not share any information with third parties for any unknown or unrelated uses.

Legal

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Website.

All Ages First Aid Training uses the Stripe Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions. Stripe processes online credit card transactions for thousands of New Zealand merchants, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet. All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the Stripe gateway are secured payments.

– Payments are fully automated with an immediate response.

– Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by All Ages First Aid Training or any outside party.

– All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.

– All transaction data is encrypted for storage within Stripes bank-grade data center, further protecting your credit card data.

– Stripe at no time touches your funds; all monies are directly transferred from your credit card to the merchant account held by All Ages First Aid Training.

Digital Orders

After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from Stripe containing your order details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. We will attempt to send your software/license/access code via Email within 24-48 hrs.
